Silhouettes® "Spring $500 Giveaway” Sweepstakes
Official Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN.  A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. 

1. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes only open to legal residents of the 50 United States (and Washington D.C.), at least 18 years of age or older at time of entry. Void in Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, U.S. Military installations in foreign countries, and where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees and immediate family members (parents, children or siblings, whether or not the individual lives in the same household) of Silhouettes, LLC, and its respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, participating vendors, promotion or advertising agencies, or any other company involved with the design, production, execution or distribution of the Sweepstakes (all of the above, together with Sponsor, collectively referred to as "Promotion Entities") and household members of each of the foregoing are ineligible to enter. "Household member" shall mean people who share the same residence at least 3 months a year. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

2. HOW TO ENTER: Sweepstakes begins at 9:01:01 AM Eastern Time ("ET"), February 22, 2010 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET, April 5, 2010 (the "Promotion Period"). Visit www.silhouettes.com  and follow the instructions to enter the Sweepstakes. Only one entry per person and per e-mail address during the Promotion Period will be accepted. Subsequent entries will be disqualified. Subsequent attempts made by the same individual to enter by using multiple e-mail addresses or otherwise will be disqualified. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization responsible for assigning e-mail addresses. Mass entries, or entries generated by a script, macro or use of automated devices will be disqualified. No liability is assumed for late, lost, incomplete or misdirected entries. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. All Entries become property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

3. SELECTION OF WINNER: A Random drawing will be conducted on or about April 19, 2010 , by Silhouettes, LLC whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes, from among all valid entries received during the Promotion Period. Odds of winning a prize depend upon the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.

4. PRIZES: One (1) $500 E-Gift Card to Silhouettes.com, approximate retail value: $500. Approximate total retail value: $500.00. Prizes are non-transferable; no prize substitutions or cash redemption except by Sponsor, who may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an advertised prizes become unavailable. Prize(s) are not redeemable for cash and may not reduce the prize value awarded for tax purposes. All taxes on prizes are winner’s sole responsibility. If any prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable or winner cannot be contacted for any reason, an alternate potential Prize winner will be selected. Limit one prize per person/household. 

5. CONDITIONS: Potential winner will be notified by phone and/or mail and/or email and may be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release (and where legally permissible a Publicity Release) within fourteen (14) days of notification date or Sponsor reserves the right to randomly select alternate winner; if potential winner is unable to be reached, an alternate, potential winner will be selected. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted unless advertised prize becomes unavailable, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted by Sponsor in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification with an alternate winner selected. Taxes and any other expenses and incidentals not mentioned herein are winner’s sole responsibility. By entering, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Rules. Acceptance of prize constitutes consent to use of winner’s name, likeness, and biographical data for advertising/publicity purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. Entrants hereby release and hold harmless Silhouettes, LLC and its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, related entities, affiliates, sponsors and agencies from any and all claims, demands, losses, and liabilities arising out of this promotion or use or misuse of the prize awarded hereunder. Sponsor assumes no liability or responsibility for damages, losses or injury resulting from this sweepstakes or the acceptance or use of any prize. Entrant is responsible for all on-line charges incurred with any Internet service provider and/or wireless carrier. Sponsor not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures or any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any website or on-line service, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost, incomplete, illegible or misdirected entries. No mechanical reproduction of entries accepted. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. If the judges determine, in their sole discretion, that there is any suspected or actual tampering with the Sweepstakes or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the Sweepstakes, the judges reserve the right to void the entries at issue and/or terminate or modify the Sweepstakes and/or conduct a random drawing to award the prize using all eligible entries received as of the termination date. If the Sweepstakes is terminated due to tampering or technical difficulties prior to its expiration date, notice will be posted at www.silhouettes.com. Any attempt to damage the content or operation of this Sweepstakes is unlawful and subject to legal action.

6. ENTRANT'S PERSONAL INFORMATION: Information collected online from U.S. entrants is subject to the Sponsor’s Privacy Statement located at their home page.
